About me
I’m Popil — an artist and animator who makes tiny handmade worlds. My work lives between illustration, stop-motion, design, and small experiments that drift in the margins.
I’ve published seven books in Asia, and my curiosity keeps expanding beyond paper and frames. I’m deeply interested in coding, and I’ve also planned and curated events across both Web2 and Web3 spaces—treating technology as another material to play with, build scenes from, and imagine new forms of connection.

Animation & Film
I create animation scene by scene—shaped by years of behind-the-scenes film art direction and production. I work across digital and stop-motion, but I’m most drawn to hand-crafted animation made with traditional materials.
My stop-motion series The Coral Reef Chronicles has earned multiple international nominations and awards, and became a large-scale immersive interactive exhibition at Essex Art Center (MA) in late 2025.
